Sri Lanka Highlights

Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a rescue & conservation centre for Asian elephants — ideal for photographs and ethical wildlife viewing. Continue to the hills and check in to the hotel for a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world. Continue to St. Paul's Church and then to the Royal Botanical Garden, home to 4,000+ exotic plant species including world-famous orchid varieties. Visit the Gem Museum and later enjoy an evening Sri Lankan cultural show filled with traditional dance and drums.

After breakfast, visit a Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lankan spices and Ayurveda-based products. Continue to Bentota — a picturesque coastal town famous for its pristine beach and lagoon. Check into the beach resort and enjoy a lazy evening by the ocean.

Morning Madu River Boat Safari, passing mangroves & tiny islands rich in birdlife. Visit a Turtle Hatchery, which rescues and rehabilitates sea turtles. Evening free for optional water sports on the beach — jet ski, banana boat, parasailing etc.

Transfer to Colombo. Visit St. Anthony's Church and enjoy a panoramic city tour showcasing colonial architecture, temples, BMICH and landmarks like the iconic Lotus Tower. Evening free to explore cafes, markets or malls.

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Colombo Airport for your onward flight.
