Arrive at Kochi airport and transfer along the coastline to Marari, a tranquil beach destination known for soft sands and coconut groves. Check into the resort and spend the evening unwinding by the sea — long walks, sunset photography, and optional fresh seafood dining.

After breakfast, drive to the nearby backwater village of Kumarakom. Board a traditional Kerala houseboat for a day cruise, floating past paddy fields, canals and village life and watch fishermen, floating grocery boats and duck farms from the deck while enjoying freshly cooked meals on board. Disembark by evening and check into a lakeside resort for restful views of Vembanad Lake.

For early risers, an optional boat/canoe trip to the water lily wetlands offers magical sunrise views. After breakfast, drive inland to Thekkady, where the scent of cardamom and pepper fills the air. On arrival, check into the resort and visit a spice plantation to learn how Kerala's famous spices are grown and processed. Evening free for either a cultural show (Kathakali) or Kerala's martial arts performance (Kalaripayattu) .

Start early for a boat ride on Periyar Lake, the best way to spot wildlife like elephants, deer and rare birds near the water's edge. After lunch, enjoy leisure time — choose from bamboo rafting, elephant interaction, trekking activities or an Ayurvedic massage at the resort. Visit the local spice market in the evening for authentic souvenirs.

Drive towards Munnar, watching the scenery transform from thick rainforest to rolling tea estates as you gain altitude. Arrive and check into the hill-station resort surrounded by tea gardens. Spend the evening taking a relaxed walk through plantation trails and enjoy the cool mountain breeze.

Head out early to Eravikulam National Park, home of the Nilgiri Tahr and spectacular panoramic valley views. Continue to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where boating and mountain photography are popular. Learn the fascinating science of tea processing at the Tea Museum, and visit the floral landscapes of Blossom Garden if time allows. Return to the resort and enjoy your final evening in the hills.

After breakfast, drive down from the mountains back to Kochi. Depending on flight/train timing, optional stopovers for tea and spice shopping may be possible. Proceed to airport/rail station for your onward journey.
